Chilean - Austrian artist, muralist - wall painter - and illustrator based in Austria since 2010.

About me

It took me many years of studies in a crazy city with 7 million people, a few years abroad in a city with 22 millions souls and Tequila, and a 10.600 kilometres world trip to finally find myself– and apparently forever – working and living in a beautiful castle in the middle of nowhere in the sunny Südburgenland. A place where from the very beginning was confronted with fact that I’ve become suddenly in some kind of latin american colorful alien in the middle of the Blaufränkisch wineyards.

It took a while till the people got used to see me and accept me. It took a long while until I learned the language. In this environment I had to invent a new „me“ and try to make the best out of it. Considering that I can’t stay calm I took my first step: introduce myself to a local artist and say: „I am an artist and I want to work with you. Teach me how to do what you do.“ That’s how I met my Master, my Sensei: Norbert Art-Uro. And so was how I became a mural painter.

From a huge cities to a tinny villages. From a beautiful tidy family home to a place on my own under my own rules. From holding for years a tiny small brush on a canvas to huge ones on giant surfaces.

About my work

Consequently, my art celebrates the vibrant spirit of empowered women, echoing the strength born from resilience, diversity, and independence. Through vivid colors, fashion-inspired patterns, and symmetrical motifs, my canvas becomes a testament to the triumphs of cultural fusion and personal perseverance. Embracing my Chilean roots while making Austria my home, each stroke embodies the harmony found in balancing two worlds, raising a son, and embracing diversity.

Yet, my artistic journey extends beyond the canvas. I am also known for crafting expansive mural paintings, embodying a dichotomy that defines my artistic persona. I often refer to myself as a ‘bipolar’ artist—creating delicate portraits of women alongside engaging in the hard physical labor of mural painting, symbolizing both my delicate feminine alter ego and the robust, masculine essence required to wield brushes while hanging from scaffolds.

The dichotomy doesn’t end there. My choice of patterns isn’t merely aesthetic; it’s a deliberate attempt to showcase the perceived perfection that surrounds women. These patterns, akin to the colors and patterns we choose to wear, are not just external adornments but poignant reflections of human personality, especially of the feminine essence. My art aims not only to celebrate the outer beauty but also to resonate with the inner strength and statements of identity that patterns and colors communicate.
